ADDICTED - ASS FREEDOM REVIEW: The Brand

Addicted is a Barcelona based underwear brand that has a good reputation in the UK as one of the leading designers of underwear targeting the man-on-man audience and can be found at any reputable queer clothing retailer. It is certainly one of my favourites; mixing sex appeal and sportiness to create something that’s comfy, supportive and stylish while getting your sweat on in the gym and certain to get everyone’s attention as you strip off in the locker room before you hit the showers. I even love that the name is synonymous with having too much of a good thing. The Addicted slogan is “Born Free”; the perfect transition to the underwear I will be reviewing today: the Ass Freedom Jock which certainly lives up to its name of unleashing your butt.

Addicted - Ass Freedom Jock - The Underwear

Calling this a jock is very much a misnomer as the showpiece of this design is the complete lack of back straps, with a stretchy rim of the pouch looping behind your junk to keep it. The pair I’m modelling today are a red pouch with a thick blue waistband (95% modal, 5% elastane), sized medium. It is available in 7 different colours, each with a different waistband of contrasting colour and sizes range from XS to XXXL.

Addicted - Ass Freedom Jock - The Review

I’ll be honest, this underwear fell into my possession quite by accident, bought for me by someone who thought this was your typical jockstrap and to be frank, this style of underwear had no appeal for me and I was sceptic of their function to keep everything in place without a string or strap. So I tried them on and decided to put their design to the test; wearing them to the gym to putting them through an ordeal of treadmill running, lunges and squats, and was pleasantly surprised that the jock managed to stay in place throughout. Even through a music-fuelled jiggle dance in my room did little to loosen the pouches grip on my bulge. So far so good, right?
Unfortunately, where the pouch loses its functionality is the arrival of an unwarranted (but not unwanted) erection that pitched everything forward like a tent, causing my balls to flop out. Not very dignified and certainly not an image for an underwear review blog.
Final Verdict:  I’d categorise the Addicted Ass Freedom Jock under “Gimmick Underwear”, something that will draw attention but not very practical. I love the bold colours of the range that are distinctive for Addicted but I dislike that their brand has been reduced from the bold text on the waistband to a small logo. Also I much prefer something round the back to provide support and frame my cheeks nicely. The lone strap around the waist gives me the mental picture of an apron or a utility belt rather than sexy underwear. Unless you’re going to an underwear party or have a sexy costume that requires a completely bare ass, I’d recommend buying one of Addicted’s better designed pieces… or just go commando.

A very helpful review - good to know it's more of a show piece than a practical thing for day-to-day wear!

Nice blog. I appreciate the writer who wrote this blog. I like men's Jockstrap. I found them comfortable and supportable. The purpose of the male jockstrap(https://www.mensuas.com/mens-jockstrap-underwear) is to hold the male genitals in place and suppress excessive motion. My friend suggests me to purchase Jockstrap from Mensuas. They have a very good fabric of the underwear. And the crafty design of jocks looks really sexy. So, I purchased from Mensuas. Really, I am very impressed with the store. The fabric quality is very soft and smooth, and have a great fit.

Amazing. You know, I also have the same jockstrap. I bought it from erogenos.com. It just looks Fab. I just love to wear it when I am with my girlfriend. She also likes to see me in this underwear. The best thing is that it is affordable and sexy at the same time.

Wow! I am a male underwear fan because I feel it is very easy to wear the entire day. I like to wear it when I am working at work and at home. I used to buy high-quality underwear and most trustworthy websites like http:/erogenos.com/. It gives me perfect fit and comfort to my below assets.
